On Saturday the 14th of June between 10am and 4pm, students currently
studying certificate and diploma courses in permaculture at Djanbung
Gardens will be hosting an Open Day.

‘We are really excited to be able to pass on some of the seeds of wisdom we’ve been learning’ student Matt said.

There will be a series of workshops, tours and presentations run by the
students as well as local permaculture expert Robyn Francis and
Bushfoods and Restoration Ecology expert Peter Hardwick.

There will be a delicious, fresh, organic morning tea and lunch
available, as well as a variety of interesting displays, information
and seasonal produce.

The topics that will be addressed at the open day include: a Djanbung
Gardens Tour, Living Water & Permaculture, Care for Self = Care for
Earth. Permaculture in Developing Countries, Backyard Garden Methods,
Making Organic Liquid Fertilisers, Alternative Green Building Methods,
Make your own Balms and Tinctures and a Bushfoods Tour.

There’s something for everyone.


Djanbung Gardens is located at 74 Cecil Street, Nimbin, entry to the open day is free, all welcome.
