Apothecary Gardens & Herbs in Permaculture with Robyn Francis at Djanbung Gardens
Explore ways to integrate herbs into your garden landscape and create an Apothecary Garden.
This workshop will introduce you to traditional uses of weeds and garden herbs for first aid and simple home remedies.
Learn how to make your own herbal salves, ointments and other herbal products for the home.

Workshop fee $99 (Early bird ends April 21) includes morning tea and complementary copy of Robyn Francis’ booklet ‘The Garden Apothecary’. Bring your own lunch.


Teacher: Robyn Francis, international permaculture designer and activist has been passionate about herbs for over 40 years, starting in Europe in the 1970s where she studied traditional herb lore in Bavaria. She established a herb farm in NSW in the late 70s and developed a range of artisan herbal skin care products. Robyn integrates her herbal knowledge and experience into her permaculture gardening and lifestyle at Djanbung Gardens.

Through this workshop you will learn practical information about growing herbs, what grows well in our subtropical climate and seasons, herbal and edible weeds, simple herbal preparations you can make, how to make your own herbal ointments and salves, traditional herbal first aid.
