DIY Soap Making & Natural Cleaning Workshop

Join Robyn Francis for a fun day making natural soaps and simple cleaning products for the home and personal hygiene.

Learn the art of soapmaking using natural ingredients – all participants will get to take home a sample. We will also make general household cleaner for kitchen and bathroom and introduce a range of simple cleaning products you can make with cheap and easy to obtain ingredients. Natural alternatives for personal hygiene will include things you can use and make for hair washing and conditioning, tooth cleaning powders and pastes, plus face scrubs and skin toners.

Say goodbye to expensive store-bought products to keep your home and family naturally clean.  Household and personal hygiene products we will make are river-friendly and good for on-site greywater, septic and natural reedbed treatment systems.

They are easy to make from readily available kitchen ingredients, many of which are edible.

COST:  $85 includes notes, recipes, samples to take home and a delicious lunch catered by Abundance Cafe.

Robyn Francis shares 4 decades experience making her own soaps, cleaning and personal hygiene products.  She also commercially produced an artisan range of Karma Care products for Sydney markets in the 1980s before working full-time in permaculture.  Robyn is an internationally acclaimed permaculture teacher and designer who “walks the talk” at her property, Djanbung Gardens in Nimbin.
