An informative day of interactive and hands-on learning to deepen your understanding of plants, how they grow and basic botany for successful gardening.
Topics include
• essential botany & plant physiology for the gardener
• plant classifications and botanical names
• major veg plant families for crop rotation & seed saving
• practical plant identification
• essential propagation skills, raising seedlings, cuttings & divisions

Workshop Fee: $99 (Earlybird $85 ends March 29) includes tuition, handbook & morning tea. BYO lunch

Teacher:  Robyn Francis shares over 40 years experience in organic gardening and permaculture. She lives and works from her property, Djanbung Gardens, and is regarded as one of the world’s leading permaculture teachers. Robyn’s passions include gardening, cooking, permaculture and traditional homesteading skills for self-reliance.

Venue: Djanbung Gardens is a purpose-designed permaculture education centre and demonstration farm founded in 1994 by Robyn Francis. The beautiful earth brick classroom is set in a permaculture landscape where what is taught is practiced. Courses and education programs at Djanbung Gardens are operated by Permaculture College Aus Inc, (not-for-profit community education & PD in permaculture).
